The Gatineau Fish and Game Club is located on a high ridge between 31 Mile Lake and Lac Pemichangan in the Gatineau Hills. Situated in beautiful and pristine natural surroundings, the Club features a large Club House where meals and special events take place throughout the season.

Members can rent any of our four lovely cottages located on Pemichangan Bay, across the road from the Club House. These rustic and very comfortable cabins have been updated with new beds and furniture, as well as new plumbing and wifi.

Our members can also enjoy a traditional picnic at one of our six campsites. The camps are a wonderful part of Club history and are a treasured legacy that all members can enjoy. Each campsite has a dock, a picnic table, a concrete fireplace, a small wooden shelter, and a latrine.

Members may rent one of the Club’s tin boats and spend a relaxing day fishing or enjoy a refreshing swim. Got children? No problem, they are very welcome and can join our Friends Between Two Lakes Camp in the summer months.

31 Mile Lake

31 Mile Lake (Lac des Trente-et-Un-Milles) is a large and picturesque lake known for its clear waters and natural beauty. It is surrounded by lush forests and dotted with numerous islands, offering a serene escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The lake straddles the regions of the Gatineau Valley in Outaouais and Antoine-Labelle in the Laurentians, approximately 90 minutes north of Ottawa-Gatineau.

The lake has the feel of an inland sea, with numerous small islands to explore, making it an ideal destination for paddlers and explorers. Additionally, the presence of large lake trout in the waters of 31 Mile Lake adds to the allure for anglers seeking a variety of catches. This combination of natural beauty, rich local knowledge, and a diverse fish population makes 31 a premier destination for fishing enthusiasts and outdoor lovers.

Lac Pemichangan

Lac Pemichangan, is named for the Algonquin word for clear water. Near Gracefield, it’s about 90 minutes north of Ottawa in the Gatineau Hills. The lake is five miles long end to end at its longest point, but the meandering shoreline is approximately 61 miles. The myriad bays, islands and lobes of the lake offer privacy while remaining close to land. The water is pristine and clear thanks to dedicated work of the Friends of Lake Pemichangan (Les Amis du lac Pemichangan). Much of the shoreline is still undeveloped, and in its raw, natural state. There is great fishing, with northern pike, lake trout, bass, and variety of others.
